Not that you’re asking, but I’m inspired to share here, my shadow side.

Maybe in my transparency, you’ll consider your shadow side, whether or not you share.

Shadow one- I’m too quick to consider my husband’s disagreements with me, the content not important, as about me. I prefer he agree with me! lol. This came out of having a very strong mother, may she rest in peace. Her way, no other way. Subsequently, he has been my opportunity to master this dynamic, which I hadn’t mastered with my mom. So this shadow is about pausing and not focusing on my feelings but rather remembering he loves me even when he doesn’t see things as I do. This helps ENORMOUSLY.

Shadow two- I take life so seriously. And because of all the trauma that is life, life can feel overwhelming hard for me. So this shadow is about recognizing when I focus on the shit I can’t control, and actually now, think about Robert Hubbell’s solar system photos, and remember how small I am/ we are, right here and right now, in the grand scheme of things. And to limit mastodon notifications/ the news. BC the cool breeze and the fragrant rose is lost on me when I’m in the politics of life. (What we pay attention to matters!)

OVERDOING IT .. I’ll go from eating everything to eating nothing. I don’t even know which one is punishment anymore. I just wrote about it recently here on Substack. Thank you for this.

Where does one find A therapist. The one that is needed a match, someone to open up to? Mentor

If you tell me where you live, I could have a better sense of what is in your community. If you’re in the states, Psychology Today has a list of therapists. There are also mental health centers that you can call and find out about outpatient therapy services. 💖
